OAS, INCIBE Invite Entries for 2024 Cybersecurity Summer BootCamp | #cybercrime | #computerhacker


The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) today open the call for applications to participate as students in the ninth edition of the Cybersecurity Summer BootCamp, to be held in July in Spain.

This specialized cybersecurity training program aims to provide participants with intensive, hands-on training in relevant topics on the latest techniques for combating cybercrime, cybersecurity incident management and the legislative aspects to be considered in all of them.

This latest edition of #CyberSBC2024 will take place from July 8-18, 2024 in the city of León, Spain.

It will feature a series of practical workshops, keynotes and tracks given by leading international cybersecurity experts, designed to provide participants with an enriching and unique learning experience in Spanish, English and French, as well as role-plays, guided tours of the city of León and visits to its most emblematic monuments.

The CyberSecurity Summer Bootcamp is intended for the following groups:

• Law Enforcement: public officials who work in law enforcement operational units related to cybersecurity and cybercrime. Spanish format.

• Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT or CERT): specialists in cyber incident management from CSIRTs. For example: personnel working in national, governmental, police, academic, private CSIRTs, etc. English and Spanish format.

• Prosecutors: personnel belonging to the prosecutor and State lawyer careers who work on cybercrime or cybersecurity cases. Spanish format.

• Judges: personnel belonging to the judicial careers and State lawyers who work in cases of cybercrime or cybersecurity. Spanish format.

• Policy Makers/Cyberdiplomacy: personnel working on matters related to the creation and monitoring of public policies or strategies in cybersecurity and/or cyberdiplomacy issues. Trilingual format (Spanish, English, French)
