Samsung planned to launch the One UI 5.0 beta program in July. The public release was also set for October. However, the company had to delay the plan due to Google’s decision. Samsung wants to coordinate its steps with Google to prevent any possible interference.
Google previously released the Android 13 Developer Previews sooner than expected, and this created a sense of optimism among the fans that they could get the final version sooner than planned. Some fans even expected to receive the Android 13 update in August.
Samsung may be changing its release plan for One UI 5.0
With the Android 13 Security Bulletin for August, Google clearly states that the Android 13 will arrive with the September 2022 security patch. The company is still busy tweaking the update, and it has recently released beta version 4.1 for Pixel 6a to address some bugs.

The Korean company is currently planning for its Unpacked event on August 10. As per the reports, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy Watch 5 series will make their first debut at this event.
