THURSDAY

8:23 a.m. — An Uber driver said a couple with a 5-year-old child was demanding a ride but they didn’t have a car seat for the child in the 800 block of North East Avenue. The caller was requesting a Spanish-speaking officer to assist. Child safety seat laws were explained to them.

10:46 a.m. — A female was lying in the road in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue. The female was upset that her dad yelled at her brother so she laid down in the road. She was calmed down and left the roadway.

3:30 p.m. — A man was sleeping on the sidewalk in the area of Martin Street and South Street. He was checked on and was medically cleared.

8:08 p.m. — A 2-year-old who was supposed to be watched by their siblings left and was found on a neighbor’s playset in the 1000 block of Pearl Street.

FRIDAY

12:45 a.m. — A person was arrested for drunken driving after being found slumped over a steering wheel at East Broadway and Pleasant Street.
