HOUSTON (KIAH) — Multiple men in the Houston-Galveston area have been arrested after using the internet to have inappropriate relationships with minors.

Galveston County Sheriff’s Office

The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Texas City Police Department, and members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force teamed up on a three-day operation targeting the predators.

Those arrested were 26-year-old Pedro Camarena, 24-year-old Bryan Huber, 46-year-old Agustin Sosa, and 32-year-old Francisco Aguilar.

They were all charged with online solicitation of a minor sexual conduct. The operation also resulted in six pending arrest warrants for individuals being charged with online solicitation of a minor.

Another suspect in the operation, 30-year-old Alfred Tornero, was also charged with online solicitation of a minor. But when GCSO deputies attempted to arrest Tornero on Wednesday, March 27, Tornero reportedly committed suicide inside his vehicle, deputies said. The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
