Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sanctioned a financial proposal of Rs 11.73 crore for the establishment of a state-of-the-art cybercrime investigation centre at the Rajasthan Police Academy.
The announcement, made through an official statement on Sunday, outlines the multifaceted approach the cybercrime investigation centre will adopt. It is set to collaborate closely with a diverse range of experts, including law enforcement agencies, cybersecurity professionals, legal experts, researchers, and industry representatives.
This collaborative effort is expected to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the ever-evolving landscape of cybercrimes, enabling law enforcement to devise effective strategies to counter such threats.
In addition to the cybercrime centre, Chief Minister Gehlot has also allocated Rs 7.5 crore for the construction of a cutting-edge synthetic athletic track at the Rajasthan Police Academy stadium. The announcement of this initiative was first made in the 2023-24 budget.
