During a Senate session on Tuesday, Prime Minister Bishr Khasawneh stated that over 20 articles out of the 41 in the Cybercrime Law are actively addressing hackers targeting state agencies.
He further mentioned that eight articles in the draft law pertain to safeguarding the electronic financial transactions sector, while three articles are related to patterns and forms of expression.
He also emphasized that the legal phrasing is connected to the element of intent and is designed to protect the Jordanian citizens rather than any authority officials.
