The company said in a statement that the device, available in Starry Black and Sunset Blue, had a 6.59-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 1080×2412 FHD resolution.
The device is built atop a Snapdragon 680 4G SoC and has 128GB of storage space and 8GB of memory. It has a 5000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The A96 is on sale at JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Bing Lee, Wireless1, Big W, Catch, Kogan, TeleChoice, Amazon, Mobileciti, and The Technology Store AU.
The device was released in China in January. It runs on Android 11 over which is layered OPPO’s custom skin ColorOS, the latter being at version 11.1.
