The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is taking a strong stance against cyber-related crimes in the Philippines.
NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. is committed to deterring these crimes as he initiated the creation of the Anti-Cybercrime Desks (ACD) in different police stations across Metro Manila.
This initiative aims to equip police investigators with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to cyber-related incidents.
The ACD was tasked to deal with all cyber-related crimes, including violations of special laws related to child pornography.
“The NCRPO is taking this unprecedented threat seriously and is committed to protecting the lives and properties of the Filipino people,” said Nartatez.
The NCRPO is also implementing a Process Flow Diagram to ensure that all complaints are properly addressed.Joel E. Zurbano
