Three weeks after a cyber security incident impacting its services, Liberty Hospital says it has “significantly recovered.” The hospital said that most of the capabilities are functional. Patients’ electronic health records are in use again, and digital functionality for equipment and applications has been restored. “We are ever grateful to our staff, patients, and community for their patience and support during this unprecedented incident,” the hospital said. “We also are so very grateful to emergency services providers and local hospitals for their partnership in providing the highest quality of care for the Northland and the metropolitan area.” The hospital later confirmed it was a cybersecurity incident.
