Kim Kardashian broke her silence about her ongoing relationship with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The reality TV star also discussed her ex-husband, rapper Kanye “Ye” West.
In a recent interview with Variety, Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian—along with their mother and “momager” Kris Jenner—to discuss a various amount of topics including family, relationships, and their new Hulu series, The Kardashians which premieres on the streaming platform April 14th.
During a solo phone interview with the reality TV star, she discussed what she has been up to, including spending two days in Italy for Milan Fashion Week and caring for her children (North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago).
The conversation then moved to the topic of Davidson, where Kardashian was asked if he will make a cameo anywhere in season 1.
“I have not filmed with him and I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does,” she explained.
“But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
Fans would be delighted to know that Kardashian will be discussing all the details about the relationship during the series.
“I’m definitely open to talking, and I definitely explain it,” she added.
Kardashian later detailed the importance of privacy and learning how to not overshare due to the robbery that happened in Paris, France.
“I think we’re still really good at sharing. I think we’re just really cautious and careful, and I think that’s OK,” she said.
When speaking about her divorce with West, she further elaborated on her decision to keep their conversations private.
“Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy,” she said. “I believe in championing publicly and criticizing privately.”
She continued: “I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on my TV show. That’s just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good.”
Kardashian is very wary about what she wants her children to see on TV regarding her family adding,”The reality is, we’re always a family. We always will have a love and respect for each other. And even if there’s moments where it might not seem like that, there are so many moments that are super positive. I do think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time, but that they can get better.”
