The IRS Criminal Investigation division is set to open in spring 2024 a data facility to focus on combating cryptocurrency and cyber crimes, an agency official said Tuesday.
The hub, also known as Advanced Collaboration and Data Center or ACDC, will support the IRS as it targets cyber crimes. It will be located in Northern Virginia.
