Google Releases Another Emergency Security Update for Chrome | #macos | #macsecurity | #hacking | #aihp



Google has released another emergency security update for Chrome, patching a browser vulnerability that is being exploited in the wild.

The Chrome Stable channel has been updated to 100.0.4896.127 for Windows, Mac and Linux which will roll out over the coming days/weeks.

The big security concern is CVE-2022-1364: Type Confusion in V8. It was reported by Clément Lecigne of Google’s Threat Analysis Group on April 13, 2022.

Google says it “is aware that an exploit for CVE-2022-1364 exists in the wild.”
