Tell us about Dynatrace and its outlook for the UAE and the region in 2024

Let’s talk about the role of the CIO as AI takes the driver’s seat across industries. What’s your perspective on that?
The CIO remains a key player in digital transformation, providing vision and ambition for the journey. According to recent surveys, CEOs expect CIOs to lead in AI adoption, with a focus on increasing productivity and transforming business models. The explosion of data is a challenge, and CIOs need to develop strategies for data management and hygiene. At Dynatrace, we advocate having data in one place to enhance speed, responsiveness, and contextual understanding. We collaborate with CIOs in the Middle East to integrate observability into their digital transformation journey, making cloud central to modernization.
Addressing data privacy concerns in the context of AI, Dynatrace boasts the highest AI data privacy standards. Can you elaborate on that?
In observability, customer-controlled data is paramount. We mask personal data and work closely with regulatory agencies to uphold the highest standards in data privacy and security. Our AI strategy, including predictive, causal, and generative AI, ensures strong data hygiene, providing accurate answers. Transparency, security audits, and customer control are our core pillars in maintaining AI data privacy. Customers have the assurance that their data is handled responsibly and securely.
Lastly, let’s discuss sustainability in the technology industry. Where does Dynatrace stand, and what’s your perspective?
Sustainability is crucial, and Dynatrace recently launched its first sustainability report. We acknowledge our responsibility to contribute to a sustainable world. Our carbon footprint app helps customers manage their IT environment’s impact, providing practical support. Internally, we adhere to sustainability goals and support global net-zero initiatives.
