Cybercrime: Teachers Told: Spare 5 Mins For E-awareness | Surat News | #cybercrime | #computerhacker

Surat: Gujarat minister of state for home Harsh Sanghavi on Sunday urged teachers to spare five minutes of their lecture to spread awareness of cybercrime.
The minister was speaking at the cyber awareness program held at Indoor stadium for 7,000 teachers under the Cyber Sanjeevani initiative of Surat police.
“Anti-social elements are targeting people over social media. Police and educators need to come together to spread awareness of cybercrime. If teachers can spare five minutes from their 60-minute lecture for cybercrime awareness, it will definitely help the society,” said minister Sanghavi.
Central minister Darshana Jardosh, minister of state for education Praful Panseriya and Surat police commissioner Ajay Tomar remained present at the event.
Education minister Panseriya, “Children becoming victims of cybercrime and some are also forced into committing suicide. This is a matter of concern for all of us. If teachers can lend an ear to students to understand the issues it will help them.”
