Cybercrime Police Stations: ‘register Firs At Cybercrime Police Stations’ | Hyderabad News | #cybercrime | #computerhacker

Hyderabad: The Telangana state cyber security bureau, a dedicated wing of Telangana police, launched in March 2023 to deal with increasing cybercrimes in the state, have begun registering FIRs at cybercrime police stations (CCPS). On Tuesday, 10 FIRs were registered at seven cybercrime police stations in the state. Though the bureau started functioning a long ago, the process of registering FIRs did not begin as a designated court was not assigned to the bureau’s police stations. After completion of the procedures, the CCPSs started registering FIRs. Each of these police stations are headed by a DSP rank officer who is designated as the station house officer, supported by a team of inspectors, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, head constables and constables. “All the staff of these CCPSs have undergone advanced training on investigation and technical skills,” the officials said.tnn
