Hyderabad: Swift action by a victim of cyber crime, helped TS-Cyber Security Bureau (TS-CSB) officials retrieve 1 crore from cyber criminals. Officials said that a victim from Nacharam found that three unauthorised transactions took place from his bank account. “He found that 50 lakh in one transaction, followed by 50 lakh in another transaction and 10,000 in a third one was lost. But the victim immediately contacted the bank authorities besides calling up 1930 to lodge a complaint. All this happened in 12 minutes,” TSCSB director Shikha Goel said. As a result, the staff of 1930 alerted the concerned bank and intercepted the fraudulent money before it could go into the account of the accused. TNN
