The Gurgaon Cyber Police along with Cyber Security Officers and Geek Creative Agency launched the community outreach programme to spread alertness regarding cybercrimes among the residents of Gurgaon at the Cyber Hub Amphitheatre.
The police said www.GiveBackToGurugram.com will have information on all the latest cyber scams in the district and will also feature a creative comic strip explaining how cyber crimes happen and tips on how to stay safe. One can also take a quiz on cyber security.
The site features four options: Stay secure, Stay aware, Easy learning, and Get certified. Thirty crimes have been listed on the site in the form of comic strips after which users are directed to take a quiz regarding the same. The site also provides a certificate for those who pass the quiz.
“The campaign will leverage all media channels & partnerships such as Print, radio, offline public spaces like metro stations, bus, rail stations, and government spaces along with social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn and Instagram to engage citizens and spread awareness,” the website says.
