(5-22-23) Steven Dameron (61) of Celina was indicted on May 18th and was arrested on a 1st degree felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender. Dameron was taken into custody by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Monday. He is being held on a $100,000 (10%) bond. A June 7th (2:30pm) Mercer County Common Pleas Court appearance is scheduled.
According to court records, Dameron was convicted in the state of Georgia in Cobb County in May of 2002 on child molestation charges.
